Records include registry files, 1950-1960, containing correspondence, memos, reports, and many other types of documents concerning all aspects of the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency; also project files, 1952-1960, containing correspondence, project agreements, lists of required supplies generated by UNKRA's establishment of projects in the areas of food and agriculture, rural resettlement, transportation, communications, education, health, sanitation and welfare, natural resources, housing, technical assistance, and other projects. Also included are files concerning personnel, finances, and other matters having to do with the administration of UNKRA, 1951-1960, and containing correspondence, legal documents, minutes, accounts, and photographs. Historical files, 1951-1960, were assembled in order to write a history of UNKRA, and contain examples of the types of documents mentioned, as well as drafts of a history of UNKRA. It contains PAG-4/3.0, subseries (3.0) Registry Files; (2) Project Files; (3.1) General Administration Non-Registry Files; (3.2) General Administration Photos; (4) Personnel Office Non-Registry Files; (4.1) Finance Office Non-Registry Files; (4.2) Finance Office Ledgers; (5) Historical Files.

"The records of the War Crimes Commission in the United Nations Archives consist of: minutes, documents and reports of the Commission and its Committees, the Research Office, the Far Eastern and Pacific Sub-Commission; further there are periodical lists of War Criminals, Suspects, Witnesses (including approximately 37,000 names) and related material of the main Commission and of the Far Eastern and Pacific Sub-Commission; documented is also some correspondence, mainly with various National Offices. The more voluminous part of the documentation of the War Crimes Commission are records submitted by Member Governments, other National Authorities and Military Tribunals: some 8,000 charge files and related material; periodical lists of about 37,000 War Criminals, Security Suspects and Witnesses; reports of National Military Tribunals; transcripts of proceedings and documents of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East. Finding aids in the form of indexes are part of the above enumerated records. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence, cables, lists of military observers, personnel lists, reports, summaries of events, photographs, clippings, press releases, statistics, and charts of the United Nations Observation Group in Lebanon (UNOGIL) Military Personnel Section, Military Evaluation and Information Unit, Air Operations Section, and Logistics Section.

Also included are registry files containing correspondence, reports, press releases, clippings, and miscellaneous other documents concerning personnel, finances, and other administrative matters of UNOGIL, including reports of Observation Groups and Military Observers, and official correspondence with the Lebanese government.

"This series consists of official textual records of the International Paris Peace Conference held at the Palais du Luxembourg, Paris which opened 29 July 1946. The conference addressed state relations following World War II between "Allied and Associated Powers" on the one side and allies of Germany during WWII on the other side: specifically Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Italy and Romania. Fonds does not contain a complete set of records of the Paris Peace Conference. Series includes records such as: draft peace treaties proposing territorial, political, military, reparation, economic and human rights clauses for Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Italy and Romania; amendments to, and observations on, draft peace treaties by various states and delegations; rules of procedure for the Conference; verbatim records of plenary sessions; reports of commissions and sub-commissions of the Conference; correspondence and other documents submitted to plenary sessions and commissions; memoranda; notes of service of the General Secretariat; programmes of Conference meetings; resolutions; annexes and corrigenda; records of decisions; summary records of decisions; and meeting agendas of commissions and sub-commissions of the Conference. "List of Paris Peace Conference Documents," which do not reflect the exact contents of this series, [S-0533-0001-0001] and "List of Document Symbols" [S-0533-0004-0009] are supplied. Archival folders are arranged by subject in no particular order; within this subject arrangement, folders may be arranged alphabetically by name of non-Allied country where applicable. International Paris Peace Conference

Records consist primarily of correspondence, cables, memoranda, maps, personnel lists, working papers, reports, and press releases. These concern the Advance Party to Jerusalem, 1948- 1949, refugees, truces, the Negev Situation, and other matters having to do with UNPAC's work in the Middle East, as well as the administration of UNPAC.

Correspondents include the Jewish Agency, Leo Malania, Hadassah Hospital, the United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations, the Mandatory Power (British), Pable de Azcarate, and Ralph J. Bunche, the Principal Secretary of UNPAC.
Many of these records come from the offices of Bunche and de Azcarate.

Records consist of the files of United Nations Commissioner, Adrian Pelt, 1949-1951, and the files of the United Nations Tribunal in Libya, 1951-1955. Pelt's files contain correspondence, reports, including reports and correspondence to the Secretary-General, budgets, minutes, cables, press releases, working papers, and background data on Libya.

These concern the Advisory Council in Libya, Tripolitania, Cyrenaica, and Fezzan, technical assistance, administration of the Commission, protocol, matters relating to the transfer of power to the Libyan government, the Libyan National Assembly, and miscellaneous other matters.

Of note are correspondence to, from, and about representatives to the Advisory Council in Libya, whose job it was to advise the Commissioner, concerning their appointments; and correspondence from groups in Tripolitania, Fezzan, Cyrenaica, France, and Britain concerning their views of the new government, including the Tripolitanian Greek, Maltese, and Jewish minority groups.

Records of the United Nations Tribunal in Libya consist of rules, credentials, correspondence, minutes, memoranda, and instructions concerning the origin, function, and administration of the Tribunal, and case files, 1954.

Anze Matienzo, the Commissioner, to the General Assembly, memoranda, working papers, press releases, personnel files, maps, and clippings from the files of the Commissioner, the Principal Secretary, the Deputy Principal Secretary, and the Administrative Office concerning the drafting of a constitution for Eritrea, and other political, legal, economic, and social matters.

Of note are minutes, statements, and working papers of the Eritrean Assembly; drafts, 1951-1952, of the Eritrean Constitution; and a picture album presented to the Commission showing a "manifestation for independence" by local inhabitants. One box contains correspondence and case files, 1952-1954, of the United Nations Tribunal in Eritrea.
