Documented are the selection of committee members, administrative matters, committee investigation of various departments and offices, meetings of the committee and its subcommittees. Also included are press releases, newspaper clippings on revamping the United Nations Secretariat, and the Secretary-General's Working Papers Nos. 1-129. The Committee was created in spring of 1946, to facilitate the final stages of UNRRA work and the generation of additional contributions. Also included are Nos. 52 and 58 of The Journal of The United Nations.
