Series consists of incoming and outgoing clear cables, correspondence, reports, press releases and photographs relating to the six provinces of the Congo: Equateur, Katanga, Kasai, Kivu, Leopoldville, and Orientale. Katanga province makes up the bulk of the records which detail the conditions at Elisabethville Refugee Camp, general ONUC military operations, and incidents regarding the United Nations Peace-Keeping Troops.

Files include information on air missions; famine (Kasai); refugees (Kivu); military operations (Leopoldville); Prime Minister Patrice Lumumba (Orientale); and maps of all the provinces. Correspondents include Under-Secretary for Special Political Affairs Ralph Bunche, Officer-in-Charge R. K. Gardiner, and Officer-in-Charge B. F. Osorio-Tafall.

Series consists of incoming and outgoing code and clear cables. These files originated from the offices of Special Assistant for Congo Civilian Operations Gustavo Duran and Special Advisor for Civilian Affairs in the Congo Sir Alexander MacFarquhar. Code cables discuss food deliveries, the Commission of Investigation on Lumumba, positions and appointments, issues regarding the United States Aid Program, blockage of land routes by Kantangese, construction of the Lubilash bridge, and public works program. Clear cables pertain to the investigation into plane crashes, meeting of the Dag Hammarskjold Foundation Board, situations regarding the United Nations roadblocks, training in professions such as banking, information on the United Nations Security Council Chamber meetings, information on the Congo Fund and situation reports. Correspondents include Under-Secretary in Charge of Civilian Affairs in the Congo Godfrey Amachree, Officer-in-Charge Robert Gardiner and Major-General C. C. Von Horn.

Series consists of reports submitted to the Executive Assistant (Andrew Cordier), and later to the Under Secretary-General (Bunche), by the Chief Military Observer (typescript), reporting on all aspects of UNMOGIP. The administration reports, which were issued monthly (January 1951 to October 1953), report on the numbers of observers and changes in personnel, as well as on their medical problems, and on other matters such as equipment, flights, transportation, and communications. The operations reports, issued twice per month (numbered 1 through 356, dated November 1950 to September 1965), contain summaries of complaints and incidents. Arranged by type of report.

Series consists of administrative files of Jose Antonio Mayobre, Representative of the Secretary-General in the Dominican Republic (Repdom), established in 1965 by S/RES/203 (1965).

Records consist mostly of subject files containing primarily correspondence and reports, drafts of reports, cables, and press releases.
These concern the responsibilities of the Reporting Mission of the Representative of the Secretary-General in the Dominican Republic; incidents; visits to prisons by United Nations teams; elections; the cease-fire, 1965, and reports from United States forces of cease-fire violations; and human rights violations.

Some correspondence is with United Nations Headquarters.
Also included are United Nations Security Council reports, resolutions, and other documents concerning the Dominican Republic;
and miscellaneous correspondence, clippings, maps, reports, and reprints.

Records consist primarily of correspondence to the Special Representative from the Royal Government of Cambodia at Phnom-Penh, and the government of Thailand in Bangkok, each reporting on and complaining about aggressive incidents perpetrated by the other.

Also included are translations into English of Radio Cambodia news reports about Thailand, with related correspondence from Thailand complaining about Cambodian radio and press slurs; some miscellaneous correspondence, maps, and clippings; and a two volume diary, 1963-1964, briefly recording daily events from the mission's Bangkok office.

Series consists of correspondence, incoming and outgoing cables, code cables, press clippings, maps, photographs, diaries, lists, translations, and radio information.

Subjects include but are not limited to the following: list of Thai Nationals applying for identity cards; pouch schedule; arrests for illegal entries into Thailand; prisoners; volunteer defense corps in Cambodia and livestock capture.

Series consists of photographs taken of towns and districts in Cyprus by UNFICYP personnel during incident investigations, as well as UN publicity photos.
