'Vats of dough about to be emptied in the Anker Flour Mill and Bakery, among the largest in Central Eurpoe. It employs well over 2,000 workers and supplies 30% of the total amount of break [i.e. bread] now consumed in Vienna. Today the wheat is supplied by UNRRA. 50% of the flour milled is baked by Anker themselves and distributed daily in Vienna, chiefly by horse-drawn vans, owing to the acute shortage of motor trucks. Strict control is maintained during all stages of baking. (UAV-FOD-35 - photo by Boria, UNRRA).'
