Two such units have recently been brought to China by UNRRA for erection in the Communist areas, one at Lingchen and the other at Hsintai in the Shantung Peninsula in the vicinity of the Grand Canal The erection of these two units is part of UNRRA's power plant rehabilitation programme in China, calling for the installation of some 68 units with from 75 to 2,500 KWs capacity or a total output of over 58,000 KWs

Mobile clinics to be sent by the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency to Korea to provide medical treatment, immunization and public health education were shown to members of United Nations delegations, U. N. officials and representatives of voluntary agencies. These vehicles, the first of a number which will be sent to Korea, are equipped with motion picture projectors and public address systems, in addition to complete medical equipment.
