Files in the series which pertain to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) include records concerning the United Nations Development Group and the appointment and activities of resident coordinators and resident representatives. Series also includes records pertaining to governmental and intergovernmental organizations, including the European Union, African Union, League of Arab States, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Latin American Economic System (SELA), the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), World Trade Organization (WTO), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Included are notes and reports of meetings between the Secretary-General and organization representatives; reports of conferences, meetings and activities of organizations; records documenting relations and activities between organizations; and Security Council and General Assembly documents pertaining to the work of organizations and agencies within the United Nations system. Files which pertain to the Nobel Peace Prize regard Nobel Prize laureates, the United Nations' involvement with the centennial celebration of the Nobel Prizes in 2001 and the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Secretary-General Kofi Annan in 2001. Records in the series consist of correspondence, notes, reports, statements, code cables, briefings and press releases.
